Distances to Saona Island from Punta Cana / Bavaro Resorts
From Punta Cana or Bavaro, there are two possible routes to get to the Pier for departure to Saona Island. Highway 105 is for hotels in Macao Beach and Uvero Alto the shortest route. It crosses the city of Higuey and the journey may take a little bit longer. Highway 3 is the fastest route from Bavaro Beach and Cap Cana. It connects the Punta Cana airport with the city La Romana, near the Pier to Isla Saona.
